I collect books on home economics and interior design (in addition to vintage cookbooks). I recently discovered books and comics for the newly wed bride (well newly wed in 1960-1970s). Each Friday, I'll share a passage that has caught my attention. Today I consider:

Wife-dressing is many things:

An art.

A science.

A labor of love.

A means of self-expression.

And, above all, a contributing factor to a happy marriage.
